Great Year!

Thank you to all the teachers, principals, parents, and students for making this a great year in 5th Grade Band!

We're looking forward to working with many of you in band at Page! If you haven't signed up to include BAND as part of your 6th grade schedule, it's never too late. Mrs. Garvey's classroom is right by the exit you'll take every day to leave school next year, just stop by and see her if you ever think you might want to come back to band.

While we're closing out the 2013-2014 school year, preparations are actively being made for the upcoming marching season.

Minicamp #1 takes place Monday and Tuesday, June 16 and 17, from 8am to 4:30pm. ALL percussionists and color guard members are to report for the full time both days, as well as wind and brass "rookies." Veteran wind and brass members have the first Monday morning off, and are to report for sectionals at 1:00pm. We are still accepting "walk-ons" - so bring a friend who you think will enjoy being in this great group!

Lamphere Marching Band Fan Gear (7/8/14)

Welcome to July!  We would like to go back to an old tradition and have Lamphere Marching Band apparel available for families by the end of band camp so we can show our pride starting with the first performance.  In order to do this we need your assistance in getting the orders to the printer on time.  If you are interested in ordering some Marching Band clothing, please check out the attached order form.  A copy will also be sent home with your student on Thursday this week.  Please note that ALL MARCHING BAND STUDENTS receive a white tee shirt as part of their camp experience.  You can order additional ones (or colors) for them or other family members.

We need to have order forms and payment returned by Friday, June 11th in order to meet the printer’s deadline. Sorry for the short notice.  Please contact Beth Kadlec if you have any questions.  Her info is on the form. The clothing will be delivered at the Family Pot Luck Dinner on Friday of Band Camp.

I also have attached the signup Genius forms for Band Camp volunteers and for the family Pot Luck on the Friday of band camp.  If you checked off that you can help for specific times or dates on the camp registration forms, we will transfer that information to the signup pages soon.  If you can help other times, please sign up so we can start planning.
