Band Booster

Band Boosters News

Moving Indoors (10/24/14)

One thing I’ve enjoyed about being a part of the Lamphere Band Boosters has been the opportunity to work with such fun people during our events.  Our Invitational this year was another great example!  Thank You to all the great volunteers who helped out throughout the weekend.  This year was another success that would not have been possible without each of you.

As we begin to wind down the marching band season, it is time to look ahead to our fall and winter events.  In order to start planning, I would like to invite all Band Boosters to a general booster meeting this coming Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30 PM.  We have decided to start this meeting earlier than normal in hopes that more parents will be able to attend.

We are currently behind in starting some of our fall fundraisers including the Poinsettia and fruit sales and need some help to get these off the ground or we will need to cancel them this year.

Other items that will be discussed include basketball concessions.  Donna Kosnak will be unable to run these this year due to her work commitments but will still be available to help.  WE NEED A PERSON OR GROUP OF PEOPLE TO RUN THIS FUNDRAISER.  Concessions are a huge part of our operating budget and we cannot allow this fundraiser to slip away.

We are also looking for a person or group to coordinate the concert afterglows this year.  Our first concert is only a few weeks away.

We hope you will consider joining us at the booster meeting on Wednesday.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
